Although most people enjoy the leisurely
drive from Newcastle or Sydney, you can also travel by train or
fly to Newcastle, then catch a bus to the Port Stephens area.
A bus stop is a short walk from the Batch.
Anna Bay is located just south-east of
Tomaree National Park, and the Batch is just a few minutes from the
main Nelson Bay Road.We are in the 'One Mile Beach' area of Anna
Bay district, closer to Nelson Bay & Salamander, rather than at Anna
Bay village proper.

Enter Frost Road
- from Nelson Bay Rd (at SeaWinds Village)
- or from Gan Gan Rd (at Samurai beach resort)
Robert Connell Close is the only sealed road off Frost Rd, shared
by Samurai BackPackers. At the Rob Connell cul-de-sac, we are the
second entry / jumpup on your left.
Traveling by Train
Take a train to NEWCASTLE and then connect with a bus from the
station to Port Stephens.
Traveling by Coach
Port Stephens Coaches depart from Eddy Avenue, Central Train Station
in Sydney daily.
Traveling by Air
Many direct flights are available on a daily basis from Sydney,
Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra to Newcastle (Williamtown) Airport.
The Batch is a short 30 minute drive, hire cars are available. |
